JUNet – Microsoft

In light of the strategic digital transformation partnership between JUNET and Microsoft , Microsoft’s regional team led by Angela Nganga, the Education Industry Lead for MEA Emerging Markets (MCC) and Maher Khayat Regional Business Applications Director of MEA Emerging Markets (MCC) supported by Johnny Karam, the Education Industry Advisor for the region, paid a courtesy visit to JUNET’s leadership where they held discussions pertaining to Future proofing learning for Jordanian Universities . The team were hosted by JUNET leadership President Professor Dr. Nathier Obaidat and Executive Professor Dr.Saleh Sharaeh in fruitful deliberations geared towards ensuring the continued and steadfast transformation of the Jordanian Higher Education sector as it cements its regional leadershipProfessor Dr. Nathier Obaidat shared with Microsoft’s team the strategic objectives of JUNET in modernizing teaching and learning, nurturing research with the help of HPC, AI, and machine learning, strengthening student life cycle, and empowering students and instructors with the right skills for the future. The Microsoft’s team reiterated their commitment to continued partnership with JUNET on its transformational journey in line with Microsoft’s mission to empower students and teachers to achieve more.
