Jordanian Universities Network Discusses its General Budget

​The General Authority of the Jordanian Universities Network held its extraordinary meeting under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Nabil Shawakfa and the attendance of the Executive Director Dr. Farouk Al Omari in the liaison office of Al-Bayt University. During the meeting, the minutes of the previous general assembly meeting, discussion and approval of the annual budget of the network for 2013 and 2014 and the election of an auditor were approved. The participants discussed the procedures required to correct some issues with the “Ministry of Industry and Trade” and work to provide the necessary financial liquidity to continue JUNet’s march of success and to further benefit JUNet members. Dr. Al-Shawakfa reviewed the network achievements and the plan implemented to provide the required services, software and computer programs for all Jordanian universities. Also, emphasis the keenness of the Jordanian universities to communicate with the plans and projects of the network to contribute for the development of computer and electronic field and provide modern Internet service to the member universities in the network.​
